Myeong Lee is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Information Sciences and Technology, School of Computing, at George Mason University. His research focuses on the design, governance, and economic implications of digital platforms and emerging technologies. His work examines how organizations adopt and operationalize advanced technologies, including artificial intelligence, while managing issues of trust, incentives, and system-level efficiency. His work is particularly relevant to ISEAI’s mission, as it investigates the interplay between AI-enabled systems, data governance, and organizational decision-making. He studies how platform design and algorithmic mechanisms influence user behavior, system resilience, and the reliability of data-driven processes. This includes work on incentive structures, information asymmetries, and the robustness of digital ecosystems, which are key considerations for secure and trustworthy AI deployment in critical infrastructure contexts.
